Vijay Shilpiekandula

  • Hi there! I am a Doctoral Candidate in Mechanical Engineering, MIT. I hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, MIT and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, IIT Madras. If you are a prospective undergraduate researcher (UROP) looking for hands-on design/control hardware-based projects to work on and learn from, please email me at svijay at mit dot edu. Contact me to know more about our previous UROP (now grad student in ME) Justin Lai's work highlighted below (international conference publication and also patent disclosure) for the range of possibilities for exciting research in precision flexure-based mechanism design and control. Justin presented his work in Singapore in Jan 2008 and his full trip was supported by our sponsor Singapore-MIT Alliance program.
